Trends: Spring-Summer 2016

Spring-Summer  2016 collections are gradually filling in stores and there are still plenty of items left in sales. Check the trend report for the upcoming season below and you don’t miss something of the latest trends in sales.

Materials:

Lace, satin, leather, suede, fur. Either this summer is going to be chilly or it’s for the Southern Hemisphere, which will have winter during this period.

Show your shoulders

This is one of the biggest trends of the coming season. I see it everywhere!

Halterneck

This trend flows organically from the previous one..

Frills and ruffles

Keep in mind that they will add some volume to your body, so use them strategically ;)

Fringe

Previous seasons it was more about suede fringe, while this time fringe is fine and silky.

Harness

This trend was in a few years ago and it’s back again. You will find more at Simone Rocha, Michael Kors, Suno, Jil Sander, Dsquared2, Olympia Le-Tan, Ann Demeulemeester.

Shine

This summer you can wear your sequined party items every day.

Vest

Vests of all kind are the key piece of this season.

Slip top,  slip dresses, lingerie and pyjamas are another big trends of spring-summer 2016.
