Inspo: Wool Blazer Coat
If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a while, you may have seen a short version of this post.
Now when I’ve got myself my third wool blazer coat, I decided to show it off and to make an extended version of the post here as well 😅
I found my first wool blazer about 5 years ago at a second-hand store for €5. Wore it to death. Then found the same one for €3,5 👌
These coats are timeless and are perfect transitional pieces for spring and autumn, when the weather is sort of warm and cold at the same time.
Blazer coats are super easy to style with most types of jeans and trousers.
Styling them with skirts and dresses may feel a bit trickier because of proportions, but it is a matter of your personal preferences. I wear them with either short dresses…
or with midi skirts. In this case I use a belt to mark the waistline and adjust the proportions.
This navy blazer coat was also bought second hand for about 15 euro.
And recently I found this one for €5 (ok, €9.9 including delivery) and I just can’t get over it.
One of my favorite color combinations – burgundy, pink and white. Here is a post about this color combo in case you like it too ;)
Ok, I’m done showing off, so here are some pictures of others wearing blazer coats.
Three ways to style it from Emma Hill
She has more of them.
As I said, they go with any types of jeans and trousers, including wider legs and culottes.
You will find even more outfits with wool blazer coats here on my Pinterest board.
Great, but where to find these coats, you may ask? There are usually more of them in stores for fall-winter season, but &Other Stories have them pretty much all the time. Take a look at Mango and H&M from time to time.
Since they are timeless and are hard to fail you can also search for them second hand on eBay, Depop, Poshmark, Tradera, etc. or in charity stores in your area.
What do you think? Have you got one? Would you like to try? 😉
